Busy, Busy, Busy, this summer and now it's fall are filled with activity. This summer I learned how to cann sweet hot pepper. OMG!!! they are out of this world good. If I say so myself. I also canned my mouth watering sweet Beets, Green Beans and Okra.
In feburary Ethan came down with Scarlett fever which he didn't seem to mind. It allowed him to play his video game on the computer while watching cartoons.
Earily spring (March) came with the death of our good friend Everett McLellan. He passed at home with his children and wife at his side. I remember Everett as always laughing and smiling. I will miss him.
Ethan and I went to Wichita and spent Easter with my sister. We took Ethan, Cody and Bree to church and it was so fun for them, after church they hunted eggs and won lots of prizes along with large Easter baskets. All of my sister's grandchildren came to her house for dinner and to hunt easter eggs. Mendy and Gena along with all the kids about 8 to 10or maybe 13 I can't remember how many, it reminded me of a sea of people in her back yard. They all tried to pile into a VW they looked like a can of sardines with kids faces plastered against the back window waving. Eventually they drove the VW around and around their huge back yard. Kids were laughing and screaming "Hello" as they passed by me as I was filming. We all laughed so hard it was miserable.
In May we ventured off to Marion Lk. Kansas to do some fishing for a week. Well Allen and Dad fished I took pictures of the catch. We had a fish fry on Saturday and people came from everywhere. Each one brought a covered dish and we ate and ate until we couldn't eat any longer.
In early September I left my family and went to Arkansas for a week all by myself. Awh relaxation at last. Except for the constant ringing of the cell phone that rang with someone checking on me making sure that I was alright. It was so beautiful looking out across the top of our hill and seeing the mountains in the distant. Evenings were majestic as I sat outside the 5th Wheel Camper and relaxed, the stars looked so close as if I could reach up an capture one. I enjoyed myself immensely not wanting to return home after a week had passed but I knew my family needed me so I packed up and returned home in Ok.
September I turned a year older. No, Im saying how old just older then last year. LOL! The end of September I went to Wichita to visit my Sister and see her new horse that she had purchased a few week earilier. She had him stabled a few miles from her home and when we went to visit the horse I fell in love with a little filly that was there. I bought that filly I just couldn't help myself. She was so pretty. Now I have my work cut out for me to break her out fully.
Thats all for now
Have a Great Day.

The Log
Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't notice the Log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say "Let me take the speck out of your eye" when the log is in your own eye? The word says we are hypocrites when we judge others in this manner. For what manner we place judgment on others thats how we will be judged. First take the log out of your own eye and then you can see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.Have a Blessed Day!

My Painting

This was a fun painting I spent the winter working on in my spare time, if there is such a thing. The winter was so cold and icy and a warm summer picture seemed appropriate, with the little boy and girl and their horses. My grandson said that it should be placed in a museum. Don't you just love kids? I think his room will be sufficient. Anyway I may have some made into posters and sell them. Who knows who will buy them.

My window art

I have spent the winter doing some small widow art. My grandson said he saw Elvis in the multi-colored one but if you look close there is a cross in the center of it. My favorite is the one with the yellow flowers and the humming birds. (I love humming birds) I'll make more humming bird windows this spring since that one turned out so well. I have also been working all winter on a painting for my Grandson ( I call it my winter project) but Im not finished with it yet. I'll post it as soon as its finished. Have a great day!

Sinuses?
Our dog has a problem with pollen and at times has to clear her head. Ignore my husband talking in the background.
